What is i.triglav?

i.triglav is an online office/web office intended for clients who have concluded a non-life insurance policy or life insurance policy with Zavarovalnica Triglav, d.d. or a health insurance policy with Triglav, Zdravstvena zavarovalnica, d.d. The web office is intended to allow existing clients to view their portfolio of insurance policies and insurance claims and to monitor their investments. It also allows clients to manage their life insurance policies to some extent. The online office can be accessed 24 hours a day via a PC with an internet connection and some of its features are also available for smart phones.

What does i.triglav allow me to do?

i.triglav allows registered users to:

  • View their insurance policies online
  • View their damage claims online
  • Monitor their payments under the terms of the policy
  • Make informative calculations
  • Enter and monitor other investments
  • Fill out and file request forms/claims
  • Learn all about the new features

What types of insurance can I monitor at i.triglav?

At i.triglav, you can monitor the insurances mentioned below:

  • Non-life insurance, in which the client acts as the insurer or insurance payer. Once the first non-life insurance policy has been entered, clients will have access to their entire portfolio of non-life insurance policies for the past 5 years.
  • Life insurance, where the client is the insurance payer. Once the first life insurance policy has been entered, the clients will have access to their entire portfolio of life insurance policies.
  • Health insurance, where the client is the insurance payer. Once the first health insurance policy has been entered, the clients will have access to their entire portfolio of health insurance policies.

What types of insurance fall under the category of Non-Life Insurance?

Non-life insurance includes the following types of insurance:

  • Automobile insurance

What do I need in order to gain access to i.triglav?

If you want to use the web office i.triglav, you will need a PC, an internet connection and a username. To register an insurance policy, you will also need a digital certificate or a PIN.

Which digital certificate can I use?

If you want to register an insurance policy, you can use a digital certificate from one of the following Slovenian providers: AC NLB, Halcom-CA, POŠTA®CA or SIGEN-CA.

Can I get a digital certificate from Zavarovalnica Triglav?

Zavarovalnica Triglav does not issue digital certificates. You can use any qualified digital certificate that is valid in Slovenia. You can also use your PIN to register an insurance policy. Your PIN will be sent to your (the insurer’s) address by registered post after a request for a PIN has been made at i.triglav.

What is a PIN?

The PIN (personal identification number) allows you to access the data in your insurance policy. You can get one by filling out a request form at i.triglav. It can be used when registering an insurance policy for the first time, except in the case of registration with a digital certificate. The PIN consists of six characters (letters and numbers). It is linked to the person and cannot be changed. You can get a new PIN in the "My Profile" section if the prescribed time period has passed from the time when the last PIN was issued.

Where can I get a PIN?

Your PIN will be sent by registered post to the address of the insurer, insurance payer (in the case of life insurance) or insured person (in the case of life insurance in which the insured person is under 18 years of age). After entering the policy number, you will need to choose your access method (a digital certificate or a PIN). If you choose a PIN as your access method, you will need to enter your tax identification number in the appropriate box – and we will send you your PIN by registered mail.

What should I do if I forget my PIN?

You can get a new PIN be sending a request in the "My Profile" section if the prescribed time period has passed from the time when the last PIN was issued.

How much does it cost to use i.triglav?

i.triglav is free of charge.

Why can’t I register my insurance policy?

This can happen for a number of reasons:

  • You are not properly specified in the policy. A policy can only be registered by:
    • The insurer (in all insurance cases);
    • The insured person (in the case of life insurance in which the insured person is under 18 years of age).
    • The insurance payer (in the case of non-life insurance);
  • • The insurance company doesn’t have information about the tax identification number for that specific insurance policy, so it cannot identify the client who is trying to access the policy - we advise you to visit the insurance company and provide us with the proper information.

Can i.triglav be used for legal entities/businesses?

i.triglav is intended for private individuals and sole traders. A sole trader has the right to access the data in policies in which it is specified as the insurer. At the moment, it is not possible for other legal entities to use i.trigav.

Why is it that, after registering my first policy at i.triglav, I can also see all my non-life insurance policies?

After entering your first non-life insurance, life insurance and health insurance policy, all subsequent policies from each individual insurance category are added automatically. We chose this particular solution with the aim of giving our clients an overview of their entire insurance portfolio, including past policies.

What types of damage can I keep track of at i.triglav?

If you are a registered user and you have registered your non-life insurance policies at i.triglav, you can also keep track of the following types of property damage:Damage claims under your insurance policy – this includes all damage that has been reported under the policies in which the user acts as the insurer. In the case of leasing insurance, the user must be specified in the policy as the insurer and, in the case of damage claims, as the lessee or authorized person;Damage claims under a third party insurance policy - this includes all damages in which the user is specified in at least one of the damage incident reports as the aggrieved party. In the case of leasing insurance, the user must be specified in the damage incident report as the aggrieved party or the lessee.

Why can’t I see my damage claims under my life insurance policy?

This can happen for a number of reasons: You are not specified in the policy as the insured person – or, in the case of leasing insurance, you are not specified in the policy as the lessee or authorised person;You are not specified in the damage incident report as the aggrieved party – or, in the case of leasing insurance, you are not specified in the policy as the lessee or authorised person.

Where can I find the User Guide for i.triglav?

All the procedures, from creating a username and registering an insurance policy to using particular functions, are presented in the demonstrations which can be found in the “Usage Demonstration” section.

How do I register?

To register at i.triglav for the first time, the insurer must enter his/her username (e-mail address) and choose a password. A confirmation message will be sent to the e-mail address provided. You will need to click on the e-mail address verification/activation link to complete the registration. After this, simply log in to the site using your username and password.

How do I log in?

Use your username and password to log in to i.triglav.

What should I do if I have forgotten my password?

If you have forgotten your password to access i.triglav, go to the "Lost Password" section and enter your username (e-mail) in the box that appears. A new password will be sent to your e-mail address.
